Scott Brodsky & The Importance Of Easy Technology

By Rob Sutter

If you're able to work with a computer, then you're one of many who can do such a thing. However, it's clear that there's always going to be a number of people who knows very little about such things, let alone how to turn them on. In a world that has become so dependent on machinery, doesn't it seem like a good idea to make items which are nonthreatening to novices? Scott Brodsky knows that there has to be a sense that elicits ease of use when it comes to such items.

It's clear that Apple is just one company in the world but it's one that so many people flock to for the sake of products. In my experience, they are simple to make use of, meaning that they are ideal for a casual crowd that may not know everything that there is to know about machinery. They may not be easily modifiable but they are easy to employ for whatever simple purposes there may be. What about video games, which can also retain this way of thinking in how devices are built?

If you were to take a trip to video game message boards, you'll probably hear the various claims that Sony's and Microsoft's consoles are made for more "hardcore" demographics, meaning that they may leave out the people who don't play games as much. This is where Nintendo has come into the picture, systems like the Wii and Wii U focusing more so on gaming that isn't quite as heated. These are systems which people with more responsibilities or lesser interest can make use of.

Being easy to use is something that these devices take into account and it's an idea which, I am sure, Scott Brodsky understands as well. Take the items that are associated with companies like Empire Digital Products, as one group of examples. While technology may be something that you know a great deal about, the functions may go over the heads of others. Having a better sense of usage is something that will help make these items become all the more attractive to audiences.

The reason that so many people become so frustrated with technology is that they don't understand how it's supposed to work. However, it seems like Scott Brodsky has this idea covered as well, since the printers that the company provides will be installed right then and there. Once brought to the space which it will be situated, users will be given simple tutorials. Once this is done, the awareness is raised and being able to use such items has become an action which has gotten better in terms of simplicity.
