The fragments end up staying longer inside the chamber and cannot be evacuated at a higher speed. Operators should always ensure that there is ample airflow in a bid to maintain a steady flow of production.

Cheaper beaters are usually not quite hard enough to guarantee efficiency since they may shatter once the case hardness is penetrated. Choice of metals for screens is also important. The correct screen will prevent fragment from making their way into other machinery.
