An Informative Blog For Fandoms

By Leslie Ball

Movies, fiction books, comics, and many others survive because of fans. Authors, film makers, and artists get a wide fan base because many people like to escape from the realities of life. They are certainly transported to other dimensions once they get engrossed in reading their favorite science fiction books, watching their most awaited vampire movies, or flipping on nicely illustrated comic books.

Reviews and posts on social media contribute to the popularity of these materials. Authors, writers, artists, and publishers are given a break because of repeated public exposure. The more people talk about them and their works, the closer they are to success. A blog for fandoms stated that the fans, who form a sort of cult, are the main reasons why celebrities and public figures achieve the position that they have in the industry they are in.

One of the most complex ways for celebrities to become famous is to get the public to like them. This sounds really simple but it is never easy to please other people with different interests and preferences. Public figures have their own charms and magic whenever they release their works or show themselves to the public. Fans form communities physically or virtually to connect with other fan bases all over the world.

Sometimes, the fidelity of this group of individuals is just way over the top. These days, they read books then demand for a movie release. Then they complain about a lot of things when they see the movie adaptation. They criticize it for not reaching their expectation. Also, it is kind of weird how intense their devotion is.

Again, no matter what they say or do, they are still the lifeblood of the industry. The fandoms are the main reasons why the producers, directors, actors, authors, publishers, and others are enjoying the fame and the money they are getting. They even make items and collectibles manufacturers rich because they like to purchase these to add up to their collections.

Being a fan is everything. Many become encouraged to achieve their dreams and aspiration. If they want to be a s good as J. K. Rowling in writing fiction books, they can start by reading her works and then start practicing writing based on her style. Most affluent artists also have their own inspirations before they even made it big in the industry.

Fandoms have the capacity and the power to build and nourish names. On the other hand, they are just as powerful in bringing celebrities down. Fans and haters coexist naturally like lions and hyenas in the wild. The fans are there to protect the reputation of their idols no matter what the cost is, while the haters are there to cast their hate.

The social media is the nesting place for these people. Either you are on this side or the other, you can speak freely of what you feel or think about the particular subject matter. Sometimes, the opinions become very personal and that is how disparities are born. Most of these people are really young and they could not control their emotions and words. They even cuss a lot in comments on social networking sites.

The sad thing about this whole thing though is that they indulge in unnecessary disputes with others over the internet. Sometimes the insults are becoming racist, other times, it the comments are becoming rather personal. They are also using inappropriate languages and cuss at someone they do not like. With this, values have been scarred.
