Linkedin & Its Job Search Function By A Long Island SEO Firm

By Robert Sutter

To say that LinkedIn has become the go-to social media outlet for employment would be an understatement. While many users allow it to serve as something of a digital resume, others have taken to using it more so as a platform for engagement to be done. With this in mind - and any Long Island SEO firm will agree - LinkedIn is about to take its efforts to a more mobile front. For those who do not know, it's time to focus on the iOS side of things.

The recently released LinkedIn Job Search app, for iOS, was designed with the purpose of allowing individuals to search for jobs. More specifically, they can look at various companies and the openings that they have. For example, if you wanted to work for Sony and you knew that it had a reputation management position open, you could easily search for Sony on the app, hit the "Apply" button, and follow the instructions from there.

LinkedIn is all about employment and jobs, so an app like this should not come as terribly surprisingly for any Long Island SEO firm. In fact, I believe it to be a reflection of how social media is no longer a tool for personal reasons; it can now be implemented for the sake of seeking out potential jobs. LinkedIn Job Search also goes to show that mobile devices, even more so than personal computers, have become portals to social media platforms. Why not have a program, on one's phone, that can pinpoint job openings, right?

LinkedIn Job Search holds many different benefits but one of the most helpful, and perhaps any Long Island SEO firm can agree, is the fact that it can alert people. Let's say that you want to save a particular opening on the app so that you can come back to it later. Instead of possibly forgetting about it before it ends, the app will tell you when the end date is approaching so that you can act. It's a handy feature, according to firms such as fishbat, and one that can potentially assist anyone looking for employment.

Seeing as how the mobile front has become quite popular these days, it comes as little surprise that LinkedIn would support its own app. With that said, LinkedIn Job Search contains a tremendous amount of variety and I believe that anyone who is looking for employment should consider it. After all, this particular website isn't just for designing resumes. It may be the best portal imaginable that could lead you to your next job down the road.
