Sound Advice When Dealing With Music Video Submission

By Douglas Bailey

Multimedia presentations have dramatically changed the way we deliver information, graphics, pictures and videos. Traditionally, we use whiteboards and marker to write or draw things. But thanks to modern day solutions such as software, we can virtually perform almost anything as long as the program allows it.

Even though there are many available features of a program, not every person could deliver a remarkable presentation. For that reason, a Music Video Submission is required. Submitting a demo often works on competition and similar events to help the judges decide and determine the ideal type which could be uploaded online or in TV shows. To make sure that you finish the output on time, we have presented some pointers and tips below that you might want to know.

Use the ideal equipment and tools. To begin the day right and with small problems, prepare top notch equipment. Select the best locations. Calculate the shots and the angles. Prepare all the costumes and props. Hire some staffs who could manage some difficult and challenging activities, so you could save yourself from hassles and waste of time. Do some follow ups on their work too.

Upload audible and uninterrupted tracks. If you have not done the audio recording yet, best to choose a studio to filter all the noise. Be familiar with the tunes and the lyrics, so adjustments can be made. Consider hiring a professional who can operate the audio controls. Once everything is set and done, add the audio file on the video and be prepared for the next stage.

Compile all videos, edit, analyze, do the sequence and perform changes. Unless you have the computer skills and experience, consider hiring an IT expert who has previously accomplished impressive outputs. Be the director. Tell him or her what needs to be done. Get acquainted with the theme and concepts to realize the ideal and expected result. Make a plan if needed to.

Finalize. Simply put, polish all things. Remove noises and edit several parts of videos which are not part of a video. Whenever possible, you must consider reviewing the entire work multiple times until you are a hundred percent sure that there are no mistakes which should be edited. You can hear out the recommendations of professionals to know what should be improved.

Ask for the opinions of some people. Whether your work is great, heavily depends on the impression it leaves to others. For that, do not be afraid to be critiqued. Listen to the advice and remarks of your staffs. No matter how bad they sound to be, they are often uttered to give you a rough idea on what to improve and to change. Be open minded, at the very least.

Be prepared for submission. Be sure to write down the correct email address and add some notes. Submit the correct file and include some additional documents, especially when they are asked. More importantly, keep track of your submissions and necessary updates as well.

Keep in mind that response would unlikely transpire within one hour. Hence, develop patience. Prevent sending a lot of questions otherwise you would cause problems.
