You should consider several key aspects such as the price, when looking for used janitorial equipment for sale to purchase, their state or working conditions and the job you want to do with them. You may also want to decide if you want to rent or hire the items and impact to environment.

Other avenues that you can find them on sale is at auctions or moving persons or companies getting rid of old and used equipment. Janitorial equipments are usually long lasting and can be used for very long periods of time.

The internet is also a big market for buying this second-hand items . Sites such as eBay, Amazon, source supply, bid or buy OLX are some of the e-markets that you can easily find second-hand janitorial stuff. The internet though is a source of livelihood for criminals and you should be careful with the deals.

Even though the equipment are old they must be able to perform their functions as though they are new. You ought not to buy items that are outdated and not working properly. Dilapidated items may in the long run cost you more than new ones in term of repair costs maintenance costs. These items should come with a working guarantee since some of them are costly.

The purpose for buying this old items is also important. You should know if it is for long term purpose or a short term purpose. Example is that you can buy old brooms that can be used for an event and then thrown away. For long term purpose it is good to buy good and in perfect or near new condition. You should in fact ask for an item with a guarantee.

There are some secondhand janitorial items such as vacuum cleaners that require electricity to operate. The target customers for these equipment therefore should have electricity. It's also good to note that some items needs to be used only in commercial situations and are not cost effective for domestic uses. They are bulky hard to operate and dangerous to children and the environment.
